The Walpole Street residence settles quietly into its Mt Martha landscape as a series of low-slung gabled pavilions. Vertical Board & Batten timber cladding wraps each form, its warm tones softening against retained tea trees and gums, while rammed earth grounds the composition — rising through the entry and again as a chimney anchoring the alfresco.
