MT MARTHA RESIDENCE 

The Moore Street residence is a crisp coastal composition, its gabled forms wrapped in white weatherboard beneath a white corrugated roof. Timber does the heavy lifting for warmth: wide hardwood decking flows from entry to poolside, framed by a slender white pergola and glazed gable ends. Inside, the palette gets a surprise — an off-form concrete blade wall rises through the stair, met by chunky solid oak treads, while a cast concrete hearth grounds the fireplace within lofted, raftered ceilings. Oak floors and VJ linings tie it all together — soft, textural and unmistakably beach house, with a concrete backbone.
